favorite pairing: The epitome of all teacher/student ships - Buffy/Giles, BtVS. Sure, it was purely a subtext ship, but man was it some damn good subtext. So many repressed feelings and confusion happening in this ship, but despite that, they really understood each other, even if they weren't all that great at expressing their feelings for each other (or even labeling their feelings for each other). They existed for each other, because of each other, and I just can't resist that. Now, because this was a show mainly aimed at teenage girls, naturally Buffy fell in love with the pretty vampires instead of her much older teacher, but it really can't be denied that her strongest emotional bond was with Giles. What she had with Angel was epic, but not necessary to her survival (and, really, mostly based on hormones). What she had with Spike was screwed up and a way of dealing with what happened to her, but it lacked emotion (from her), and I am still convinced that it only happened because Giles left her. As for Giles, he was her heart, her light, her safehouse. Had BtVS been a Korean drama, it so would have been a romance between Giles and Buffy.

Speaking of Korean dramas, Eun Byul/Teacher Jang from I am Sam will always hold a special place in my heart, as will Yun Bok/Hong Do from The Painter of the Wind. Two male teacher/female student ships that actually got to be realized (but sadly never quite consummated, unless you count hand holding as consummation, which in these two dramas it sort of was).

favorite irl pairing: John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

ALWAYS. ♥ I know this is bad of me, but I hate hate HATE the fact that they are now both doing teleseryes without each other. WHAT IS THAT NONSENSE? But, okay, I totally want to see the one with John Lloyd, because he is playing a VAMPIRE. I have to see that craziness.

favorite together-in-real-life pairing: Bill and Sookie! Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin!

LOOK AT HER FIDDLING WITH HIS BUTTON! LOOK AT HER GIGGLING WHEN HE SAID "WE'VE BEEN DOING IT A LONG TIME"! OMG, they are so freaking adorable, I love them.

favorite book pairing: William Monk/Hester Latterly from the Inspector Monk series by Anne Perry. I check out those books from the library at least once a year just to relive their glorious bickering and begrudging respect/love for each other.

favorite movie pairing: Probably Henry Higgins/Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady. I'm also quite fond of Anna/King from Anna and the King. And Jack/Elizabeth from PoTC.

favorite tv-show pairing: Currently it is Jeff/Annie from Community (but, as you can see from my first answer, the mainstay here is Buffy/Giles from BtVS)

favorite endgame pairing: Alan/Denny from Boston Legal. THEIR BROMANCE WAS EPIC. I will never get over the fact that they actually got married. I guess I should also qualify Tony/Angela from Who's the Boss, even though the show totally screwed them over in the later seasons. Also, Daniel/Betty from Ugly Betty, because I shipped the heck out of those two (sadly the romance didn't happen in the way I wanted it to, but at least they sort of ended up together in the end).

favorite non-endgame pairing: Damon/Elena from Vampire Diaries? Even though I'm not positive about where the show is heading with these two, I'm fairly certain that they aren't the endgame ship, but I love the crap out of them anyway. Also, there was a brief time when I adored House/Cameron with all of my heart and soul, even though I knew that they could never, ever work out. Ever.

favorite non-canon pairing: Oh, gosh, so many! Uther/Morgana from Merlin, Lassiter/Juliet from Psych, Monk/Sharona from Monk, Spencer/Sam from iCarly, Jack/Liz from 30 Rock, BUFFY/GILES.

favorite crack-ship: Kelly/Andy from The Office, forever and always. Also, Cromartie/Ellison from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (which is far more applicable to the crack ship title).

pairing with the hottest sex: Bill/Sookie, True Blood. See: Sex scene at the end of 3x08/beginning of 3x09. Too hot even for YouTube, apparently.

pairing with the hottest make-outs: JEFF AND ANNIE, COMMUNITY

pairing with the hottest chemistry: Betty/Armando from the Yo Soy Betty la Fea. Their chemistry may not have started out hot, but good lord did they leave me breathless by the end.

pairing that you recently got into: Um... the OTPs in all of the countless K-dramas that I watch

pairing that the actors got you to ship: Jeff and Annie, Community. I guess? Their chemistry is so wonderful that I couldn't resist it, but even with them it's more about how well the characters compliment each other.

pairing that you ship, but wouldn’t be upset if they weren’t endgame: Damon/Elena, Vampire Diaries. I see Damon as such a tragic figure that it would probably be weird if he actually got the girl. And I just don't see Elena ever being able to get over her love for Stefan.

pairing with the best marriage: Marshall/Lily, HIMYM. I WANT THEIR LOVE.

pairing with the best story-line: At this point in time I am going to say Damon/Elena, because I am thoroughly enjoying their tenuous friendship littered with romantic ~feelings that is bound to end tragically for all parties involved.

pairing with the best friends to couple scenario: Jack/Liz, Lassiter/Juliet, Jeff/Annie... pretty much the majority of my ships.

In other news, I have now seen Megamind, and it was hilarious. And adorable. The story kind of lost direction here and there, but I think I was so invested in the character of Megamind that I didn't even care.

Also, I don't think that I ever mentioned that I saw the new Harry Potter film the day it came out. The world was trying to conspire against me with traffic jams and accidents and the longest red lights in the history of anything, but by golly, I got to that damn cinema! It took me an hour and a half, but I did it. Missed the showing that I was going for, but luckily it was playing in all the theaters, so, I didn't have to wait long for another showing. I enjoyed the film, but I was wicked tired, therefore I had trouble staying awake. But I enjoyed the film much more than I did the book. I loved how dark they went with this one. Heck, some parts had me nearly jumping out of my seat. The films have come quite a long way since the first one. Also, I find it perplexing how I so fiercely ship Ron/Hermione in the books, but in the movies I always find myself wanting Harry and Hermione to end up together. Craziness.
