I've got two days off in a row this week, so MEME ME YOU BEAUTIFUL BITCHES! (basically I am finally posting all the memes that I've saved over the past few weeks. Pretty sure they all came from dollsome)

my three favorite romantic relationships:

April/Andy! They are so weirdly perfect together. I also had quite a fondness for Leslie/Dave. And, well, I kind of adored Ann/Andy in season 1.

my three favorite non-romantic relationships:

LESLIE/RON FOREVER AND ALWAYS, even though in my head they are totally a romantic relationship. They are the definition of work spouses, and you know I am a sucker for such ships. They are just so damn wonderful together. I also love the Leslie/Tom relationship like crazy. And Ron/April.

one character combination (either shippy or non-shippy) I wish got more attention in canon:

Tom and Leslie. They are just comedy magic when they have scenes together. I want mooooooore! It's kind of a crime that they barely ever get any stories together.

Oh man, April and Andy. I enjoy when they are together so much. They are hilariously bad at tackling maturity and the grown up lifestyle, yet they somehow muddle through it without letting it beat them down. (I thought Leslie/Dave was cute. Aw, Dave, I miss youuu.)

I KNEW you were a fan of Leslie/Ron! HAH. I mean. Well. I probably read journal entries that said you like Leslie/Ron in the past, but they were just NAMES to me then. Now I know the FACES. I totally thought you'd dig them as I was marathoning the series. I dig them, too. I dig any ship with Ron, probably. BECAUSE RON SWANSON IS AMAZING. Oh my god, Ron.

I could go for more Tom and Leslie story lines. It would certainly beat the Leslie and Ben story lines the show gratuitously supplies. (On a side note, why is Leslie/Ben popular? I popped my head into some P&R fanfic archives and the vast majority of fic is inexplicably Leslie/Ben. THOSE SHIPPERS ARE ALL SICK. They probably aren't sick, but FANDOM, gosh darn, you can be boring sometimes.)

I just want to read some fic where Ron is in love with bacon and being understandably appalled that Chris prefers to subsist on masses of vegetables instead. Like, green things that have stems and leafy protrusions that Chris somehow has the IMPUDENCE to cut off and consume. I would like that, fandom.

Or any fic about Ron. I would like that as well. Or fic about Chris. Because, I mean, Rob Lowe.

Hahahahahahaha, I LOVE YOU FOR NOT LOVING BEN/LESLIE. Not that I thought you would, mind you. We tend to agree on boring ships 99.9% of the time. Ugh, get off my screen, useless love story! I am pretty sure that they are responsible for my declining interest in the show this season. Luckily the eps from the last few weeks have been mixing it up a little better so that they both get to interact with other people. If I am honest, my main beef with the ship is that Ben takes up too much of Leslie's screentime. She is so wondrous with the rest of the cast, and while Ben/Leslie is sweet/cute/nauseating, I can only take so much of them. They are totally Jim/Pam 2.0 for me. UGH.

RON/BACON = OTP FOR LIFE. I'm pretty sure it was his devoted love to bacon that first made me fall in love with him. Bacon makes everything 20 times better, and it's just nice to finally have a character who is fully aware of that fact.

ROB LOWE, OMG, SO DREAMY. SO SO DREAMY. I could get behind this Ron/bacon/Chris/veggies love/hate quadrangle fic.
