DUDES! DUDES! THE MARY/MARSHALL HUG OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!! I AM FLAILING OVER IN PLAIN SIGHT LIKE THIS IS SEASON 1! HOLY CRAP! MARY/MARSHALL! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Also, the episode itself was pretty darn good, though the bit about Mary's father was terribly predictable. But I don't exactly watch this show for its [not] gripping mysteries, you know? But anyway, this episode was wonderful all around. THE MARY/MARSHALL BEAUTY WAS SO, SO EPIC! GAAAAAH! Also, I always love how Marshall gets all closed-off in the background whenever he sees Raph being boyfriendly with Mary. I love that man so much for inserting subtext while he's not even the focus of the scene.

TRUE BLOOD! HOLY CRAP! See? That's always my reaction to the show. Anyway, I think I ship Bill/Eric now. I CAN'T HELP IT! THEY GAVE ME ADORABLE CANON FODDER FOR IT! I fall in love with Eric more and more with each episode. He's awesome. Also, Lafayette. I think I was kind of expecting what happened to him. Or what they were suggesting would happen to him, anyway. Andy, the detective guy that got demoted last episode? I think he's becoming my favorite character. He's just so freaking hilarious with his epileptic meth head dancing. &hearts Also, that scene between Jessica and her father? HO MY GOD! That was wrong on SO many levels. Oh, kinky vampire show, you are kinkier than I originally thought you were. As for Jason, as much as I enjoy ogling him (he unnecessarily took his shirt off this time!), he gets some of the most boring/cracked out storylines ever. Why do they ALWAYS have to separate him from the rest of the main cast? Argh. But it did give us the best line EVER:

"What was that shit with you breaking the American flag like you some Muslim Buffy with a dick?"

Bwahahahahahahahaha! Oh, I love it. LUKINATOR! YOU ARE THE ONE THING KEEPING THE JASON STORY INTERESTING!

Also, I watched the first ep of Merlin on NBC, and oooooooh how it made me remember the depth of my love for Arthur/Merlin! The boylove was so very canon! Also, for the first time, I noticed that Gaius mentioned Morgana's nightmares in the pilot. Yay for continuity! I HAD NO IDEA! Also, Uther was a sexy beast with all of his flirting. Gaaaah, him sucking on the giant strawberry. HELLO THAR INNUENDO! NICE TO MEET YOU! PLEASE COME AGAIN! I also forgot how ridiculous the early eps of Merlin were. I don't watch eps 1-6 very often, but I do remember loving them immensely, it's just that it seems like the entire tone of the show changed for the better halfway through the series. Anyway, I loved seeing Merlin on my TV, but NBC was having a hell of a time coming in clear, which makes no sense since I have cable. Also, golf ran over, so I'm sure quite a few people skipped Merlin purely because of that. THANKS A LOT, NBC! WHO FREAKING CARES ABOUT TIGER WOODS? BRING ON THE MERLIN, DAMMIT! But seriously, does anyone actually watch golf on TV? It's like one step above soccer on the "nobody cares" scale. Possibly one notch below hockey. I'm sorry, I'll stop. But seriously, golf? You delayed a premiere that you've been advertising the heck out of for golf? *sigh*

Also, earlier today, I watched the Dead Like Me feature film on Netflix Instant Watch, and I adored it. I had heard that it sucked, but I actually thought it was pretty good (you know, if you cut out the crappy Daisy scenes. I hated Daisy during the course of the show, and I hated her even more in the movie. Blech. Also, my annoyance with Daisy used to always rub off on Mason, and I LOVED Mason before Daisy got there. Ugh. Yeah, my Daisy dislike has not edged off AT ALL). So anyway, I was glad that they kept the film mainly focused on George and Reggie. And even though Rube wasn't there, his presence was still felt, and I somehow found the film super shippy for my George/Rube loving heart (yeah, I'm crazy). Also, all the lovely friendshippy moments between George and Dolores Herbig Brown Eyes! I had forgotten how much George came to love Delores over the course of the series. Now the film has made me all nostalgic for seasons 1 and 2 of Dead Like Me, so I'll probably end up doing a rewatch over the course of the next couple of weeks. Also, I saw that [livejournal.com profile] ship_manifesto had one for George/Rube (it was the only manifesto for Dead Like Me, which was surprising), so that pleased me greatly. I'll have to read it before my rewatch.

In conclusion, I lazed around way too much today. But I did cut the grass, so that's something.
