OMG. *flaily hands* I so love how INSANE it is, like, it really gets the point across that Uther is a paranoid sociopath who alienates absolutely everyone around him, and he has basically destroyed his life. Just... the pain, the rage, the crazy, it's all there. LOVE!
And this Uther/Morgana one leaves me with chills:
HOW DID THEIR LOVE GO SO WRONG? WHY DOES THEIR PAIN MAKE ME HAPPY? I just don't know.
I was actually watching some of my old vids, because I am lame and do that from time to time, but someone had given me a Thumbs Down on Until We Bleed and I was like, "Whaaaat? If I'm going to get a Thumbs Down, it should be for my shoddily made vid to Ashielf Pi." And then of course I had to watch Ashielf Pi, and damn, I forgot how epic that song makes everything, even shoddily made fanvids!
See? LOOK HOW EXPLOSIVE THEY ARE! It's all due to that song, because seriously, that vid had way too many glitches, and it didn't come out the way I wanted it to because I didn't have the capability to do voiceovers back then, so you have little shots of people completing their previous sentences and it drives me NUTS. But, yeah, that song makes it 20 times better than it actually is. Of course, that's pretty much the case with Until We Bleed, too, if I'm honest (and I was experimenting with that one anyway, so I guess it's not surprising that I received a Thumbs Down, but I am awfully proud of that vid for some weird reason and DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT THUMBS DOWN, DAMN IT!). Even my Viva La Vida vid is more deserving of a thumbs down than that one! I can't believe how popular that one is, by the way. I mean, every time I go back and watch that one I crack up at how literal I took it with some of the lyrics, and the timing is all off through the entire last third of the song, and just... augh, I hate that I can see all these flaws and not appreciate the praise. But with Until We Bleed I'm just like, "Yeah, I'm awesome," even though barely anyone likes it. *sigh* But yeah, my vids are very elementary compared to the others that I've embedded.
Anyway, let's end this post with a sweet vid, because all the rest were either heartbreaking or explosive:

You know, I have theory about the thumbs down for "Until We Bleed". It could just as well be someone who was randomly searching for Merlin vids and stumbled onto your video, and the thing they're responding is the pairing, not the video itself. Uther/Morgana, especially after the moronic retcon the writers pulled, might rub some people the wrong way. Because seriously, anyone who has actually watched that video could never give it a thumbs down.
