COMMUNITY WAS AMAZING. SO, SO WONDERFUL.

JEFF AND ANNIE WERE ANGRY STRIPPING! AND IT WAS SO RIDICULOUSLY HOT. Even more awesome than that? THEY SHARED A LOOK!

A LOOK!

They haven't done that in a long freaking time. Oooooooh, it was glorious. And, I will not lie, a part of me was totally hoping that Annie's outburst was just a technique she used to keep Jeff from going on his date with Gwenyfer (ugh, Jeff, ugh). And the fact that Jeff so easily went into lockdown mode and canceled his date was because he didn't really want to go on it. I'M JUST GOING TO GO WITH THAT, EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT TRUE.

Also, SHIRLEY IS HAVING CHANG'S BABY. Am I the only one who remembers that Chang is MARRIED? Or did his wife leave him again? If she hasn't, I'm sure she will after this little development (I love that Troy is the only one that knows).

30 Rock - HILARIOUS. I loved how much Jack loved those jeans. I loved how in the end it was the shorteralls that affected him the most. ♥

The Office just melted my heart. OMG, MICHAEL AND ERIN, THEY ARE THE CUTEST. And now I see why I've always shipped them (pseudo-incest ships are the best). I'm sorry, but I still think that they were made for each other. But now that Gabe exists, I guess I am cool with Gabe being her manlover and Michael being her father figure. I so love that she just wanted to mashup her two favorite guys. GAYMIKE. And... poor Andy is off eating seahorses and puking his brains out. Let's hope that he's FINALLY realized that Erin is so very much over him. PLEASE. Because Erin/Gabe is so super adorable in that completely non-annoying way and I don't want it to end. Also, I love how the show completely nailed Glee fans. Kelly was basically my entire f-list during her talking head (well, she was me, too. I mean, does anyone watch Glee and not complain about it? I love the dang show but if you read my thoughts on it you'd think I wanted to become a Scranton Strangler copycat).

Okay, I am dead tired and feel like going to bed right now. BUT I DON'T WANT TO MISS CONAN. But I think I'll have to. I was fighting so hard last night to stay awake to see him. I don't think I'll make it tonight.

Also, I fear that I am catching a cold. My parents have been sick for weeks and I managed to avoid catching their germs, but put me to work at Walmart for two days and I instantly get sick. WHAT IS THIS INJUSTICE? I was so proud of my immune system for managing to battle not only my parents' cold, but also my niece's, nephew's, and brother's colds. I guess I can fight my family's germs but not the germs of strangers. *sigh*

OMG, wasn't the Jeff/Annie delicious tonight?? Especially since we haven't had ANY so far this season. I'm so happy right now. (but I am a little squicked about the Chang/Shirley baby)

Jack was definitely enjoying the view offered by Liz's jeans! Tina was rocking it! They had to work hard to make her look bad in the shorteralls. I LOLed at her having already thrown out her other pairs of pants.

And I've been keeping up with Conan through his website this week. They've been good about posting full episodes the morning after, so don't worry about missing him live once in awhile.

THE JEFF/ANNIE WAS SO SO DELICIOUS. Oh god, I had almost forgotten how giddy they make me.

Yeah, I'll probably have to forgo watching Conan live on the nights where I have to work the next morning. I'll catch up with him on Sunday, I guess.

Dear Writers of Community,

There was more emotion and chemistry in this episode than the previous seven. Why? Because did you see the way Alison and Joel interact? Do that more. Because the angry stripping was the hottest thing I've seen on television in a long, long time.

Love,

Me

Basically, I'd just like to highlight this part:

JEFF AND ANNIE WERE ANGRY STRIPPING! And the look at the end.

I too did not realize how much I missed Jeff/Annie until this.

I SECOND THIS LETTER. Good gosh, it's amazing how much more emotionally resonating this show is when Jeff and Annie are at the heart of it.

I missed the Office last night, was so zoned out that I need to catch up.

I remember when Meredith said Erin would never fit in, but she's done pretty well by now.

Chang implied in one of the Infiniti commercials that his wife had left him, so it depends on whether or not the commercials are canonical. Presumably they weren't, since 2.01 suggested none of them had seen each other all summer, and in 2.03 Jeff was driving his Lexus, but hey, who knows when the Emmys take place in the parallel universe where Community takes place?

I remember reading that Dan said the commercials should be included in canon. I don't know where he said it, but I remember it coming up in a discussion post recently, in reference to the Chang/Shirley hookup.

I remember him saying that too, around when the commercials originally aired, but since the events of season two so clearly contradict them ... OK, I'm going with the "Emmys are at a different time on Earth-Community" theory.

Ah, well, if that's the case, then I'm fine with the Chang/Shirley hookup. Not that Chang was ever the paradigm of morality, but he seemed to truly love his wife, so I would have been bummed if he actually cheated on her.

The look made me SO HAPPY. SO HAPPY. SEE, I SAID JEFF/ANNIE WASN'T A SINKING SHIP. I always say that I'm okay with Jeff/Annie and Jeff/Britta, but it's how I react to Jeff/Annie that shows how much more I love Jeff/Annie.

I was also happy with 30 Rock. Because of hilarity and Jack appreciating the view. And cake. I want them to eat cake together forever. FOREVER.

I KEEP GOING INTO CAPSLOCK, BUT IT'S ONLY BECAUSE TV WAS NICE TO ME, SO CREDIT/BLAME TV.

Jeff/Annie ~looks~ are just so ridiculously glee-inducing. I can't get over how much more I enjoy this show when they actually get to interact.

NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE FOR CAPSLOCK. I KNOW THAT LANGUAGE WELL.

I was so friggen happy with Community, especially considering that last week I was despairing about the lack of proper character interaction and development in favour of outlandish storylines! This episode was everything I wanted it to be: it still had that sense of silliness and not-quite-realistic elements that Community always has, but it was a pretty simple concept and it focused on the group dynamics.

LOLOL Kelly Kapoor is my spirit animal when it comes to her Glee opinions. I'm fairly certain I had the exact same rant as she did in her talking head (someone understands my pain about "Funk"!). But at the same time, I'm weirdly have this renaissance of love for the show (stupid awesome "Teenage Dream").

Oh gosh yes, this episode was everything that I love about Community. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. FEELINGS. CONTINUITY. RIDICULOUS HIJINCKS. JEFF AND ANNIE TALKING TO EACH OTHER. SCHMOOPY YET HILARIOUS ENDING. Ooooooh, it was marvelous.

Hee, I love how accurate The Office was at capturing the mentality of Glee fans. We complain about everything, but we just can't look away. AND WE ARE INSANELY ADDICTED.

THAT IT WAS. And I have to agree: for a minute I suspected it was a ploy of Annie's to stop Jeff's date (so glad it wasn't, though) who must not have been that hot, if Jeff cancelled so easily.
