MY SHOWS ARE BACK. AND THEY WERE WONDERFUL.

Community - PURE HILARITY. I loved this ep so freaking much. There is not much to say other than that billiards scene was one of the greatest things to ever happen to television. As was Abed impersonating that dude from Mad Men. I don't find that dude on Mad Men very appealing, but Abed being the dude from Mad Men was ridiculously hot. Good lord. Also, DEAN PELTON. He is so in love with Jeff. Actually, everyone is in love with Jeff, but Dean Pelton is really in love with Jeff.

PARKS AND RECREATION - SO MUCH SHIPPERY GOODNESS TO BEHOLD. (I think Andy/April is starting to win my heart almost as much as Ron/Leslie has)

1. RON TEASING LESLIE. AND BEING GIDDY ABOUT IT. I cannot get over how adorable his over the top douchiness was. I think it was the little proud smiles at the camera every time Leslie stormed out. HER FRUSTRATION BRINGS HIM SO MUCH JOY!

2. Ron saying right from the start that he was going to give it to Leslie because she deserves it for all the hard work she does! I love how, every time he says something sweet about Leslie, he makes such a show out of it meaning nothing, which means it means something quite huge. He doesn't just go around complimenting people, but with Leslie, he's doing it constantly. Just, you know, not always while she's around.

3. LESLIE FIGHTING BACK! Ahahahaha, I love how she just sent that irate dude over to Ron and winked at him. Clearly this is their form of flirting.

4. Ron hiring a PHOTOGRAPHER CREW for his ruse. OMG, that was genius. And the little frying pan! Bwahahaha. But I love that when Ron saw how much the award truly meant to her, he decided to call it quits.

5. The bit with the envelope! Her affectionate smile when she realized what he'd been doing! RON LOVES POWERFUL WOMEN. Which accounts for his love of the WNBA, apparently. Ron getting angry when they wouldn't let him give the award to Leslie! Him encouraging Leslie to write an angry speech! "The IOW is just a bunch of sexist jerks who need to get back in the kitchen where they belong and leave the real feminist work to actual feminists like Ron Swanson! OH MY GOD, WHAT IS HAPPENING?" Ahahahaha, oh, I love them.

6. THE AWARDS CEREMONY! THEM IN THEIR FANCY CLOTHES LOOKING ALL COUPLEY! RON STOPPING MID-SPEECH AS HE GAZES AT LESLIE AND DECIDES TO PERSONALLY HONOR HER! LESLIE TOTALLY RUINING HIS GALLANTRY BY HONORING HIM BACK! THEM ADORABLY FIGHTING OVER WHO SHOULD TAKE THE AWARD! THEM POSING IN THE PIC TOGETHER!

7. "I still think awards are stupid, but they'd be less stupid if they went to the right people." OH, RON SWANSON, YOU BIG OLD SOFTIE. You can sip your scotch as loudly as you want to, WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU LOVE LESLIE. God, I love those moments where he just won't look at the camera and does something else to sort of signal to the cameraman to go away and the camera just stays on him and he's all fidgety because he knows they keep capturing him caring about Leslie. I don't know, I can't describe it in a way that gives it justice, but you all know what I'm talking about, right? It's just such a simple yet effective way of getting his emotion across. It's brilliant.

8. Them throwing the award away together! Oh, you guys, everything they do together is somehow adorable multiplied by infinity. I can't get over their adorableness. And Leslie making sure he was gone before she went back out to snatch it back! Hee. Oh, Leslie.

I loved this episode. SO much, although I probably could have done without the club storyline, but it was worth it for that Tom/Andy moment near the end. Such a beautiful moment that showed how wonderful Andy really is. And I loved that April was totally charmed by his reasoning for giving Tom his apartment money. And April and Andy looking at apartments together? OMG, SO CUTE.

The Office aka ATTACK OF THE JAM BABY! I FREAKING LOVED IT. Which, is not a surprise, because I am a sucker for babies, but mostly I loved the fact that this was the most realistic baby episode of anything that I have ever seen. Never have I felt so in tune with Jim and Pam before this baby came along. Just... I get them now. I totally get them. I know I often compare Jim to my brother, but good lord was he like a clone of him here. Every single hospital scene was exactly how my brother was for both babies. Lots of sarcastic mumbling, that look, that panicked look like, "I want to do something, but I know that everything I do will only make her scream at me." And the way that Jim and Pam instantly started arguing about the baby while it was crying, SO VERY ACCURATE. Everyone is in awe of the new baby until it starts crying and it won't stop and you feel completely useless. And oh god, the feeding problems! My sis-in-law had the exact same problem with my nephew, to the point where he actually lost weight instead of gained it after they left the hospital, so they had to switch him to the bottle. With my niece, she was on the bottle right away since my sis-in-law ended up in intensive care (let's hope the third baby doesn't put her there too). Er... anyway, what I'm saying is, this episode was such a freakishly accurate portrayal of what it's like in those first few days after the baby is born, but the show managed to capture it in such an engaging way that I was totally wrapped up in the story and waiting for their "we're finally being parents" moment to click for them, and then the show totally took the rug out from under me when Jim and Pam realized that IT WASN'T THEIR BABY. OMG! So, so brilliant to take this lovely, sappy moment of rightness and totally besmirch it with the fact that THEY'VE NEVER BEEN MORE WRONG IN THEIR LIVES. Oh, show. You got me. That was awesome. And kind of cruel. But then Jim and Pam got their moment at the end, and that was lovely. OH, BABIES! I LOVE THEM!

As for the rest of the ep, Dwight was beyond awesome. DID YOU SEE HOW HE BROKE IN? TOTALLY BADASS, THOUGH COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. And, oh god, he slept in their bed without underpants on, and yet he was wearing an undershirt. Who does that? OH! OH! My favorite part of the ep? The bit where Escort Dwight stopped to point out to Michael where he found the dead dear the other day. AND MICHAEL WAS TOTALLY INTERESTED! Oh man, it is scary how much they remind me of my parents. Is it any wonder that I ship them so fiercely?

Andy, or should I say the baby formerly known as Walter Jr.? Anyway, Andy is still super adorable, especially when he wears sweater vests. And I continue to be unmoved by Andy/Erin, though my heart did go out to them when Erin started crying and Andy got all teary-eyed because he was trying to be romantic and totally screwed it up and it was just yet another example of his life sucking, but then it finally worked out for them. So, finally, FINALLY this stupid storyline can get moving. It is sad how uninterested I've been in Andy this year. Me! Uninterested in Andy! That's just weird.

Yay for the return of Dwight/Angela! How do they make notarizing contracts feel so damn sexy?

Also, I watched the webisodes earlier today. SO MUCH WIN.

I will conclude with this:

It could be that I'm just not ready for awesome television. I am still watching 24 and Smallville and SGU so clearly my head is not on straight. One of these days I will let you help my brain.

I haven't seen the webisodes. I didn't even know there were webisodes. Wow, I am not a GOOD FAN.

Ha, well, I didn't actually know there were webisodes either until they popped up on my f-list.

And yes, clearly you are not yet into quality television (says the girl who is in love with such nonsense as True Blood and Glee).
