Fact: I actually LOVED an episode of In Plain Sight this season! WOO! Seriously dudes, it was amazing, and I am ashamed of myself for not watching it when it aired. I've become so disillusioned with this show for some inexplicable reason that I just DIDN'T CARE it was on, and I was doing other things, so I was like, "Meh, I'll skip it." DO I NEED TO SKIP IT EVERY SUNDAY IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE LOVABLE AGAIN? Because I'll do it if I have to. I haven't loved an ep this much since 1x12. It just had that classic season 1 feel to it with the added bonus of Jinx and Brandi NOT being annoying. Also, there was Brandi/Raph interaction, and once again I was reminded of how EPIC they were in comparison to Mary/Raph. Seriously, the dumbest thing this show did was drop the Brandi/Raph storyline. *sigh* But anyway, you know what this ep had that most of season 2 is lacking? Marshall pining over Mary in a terribly obvious yet completely subtle way. IT WAS SO, SO BEAUTIFUL! Guh, I love how he related it back to chasing a dog. Bwahahaha. I love Marshall. So very much. I really don't understand the people who call Mary/Marshall a brother/sister dynamic, because uh... Marshall has been pining for Mary from the very first episode. How do people ignore this fact? The issue has been raised in at least three episodes, probably more. But anyway, Marshall's dialog to Dennis killed me. It was utter perfection in that melty yet hilarious way.

Also, the Mary/Marshall banter was of season 1 caliber. Also, I loved the chemistry between Mary and the new girl (from That 70's Show!!!). Also, Mary was ridiculously beautiful in this episode. I may have to actually stop being a lazy butt and picspam this episode (although everyone on [livejournal.com profile] mary_marshall is all about the Marshall, but... whatever. They will just have to deal with my insane girlcrush on Mary McCormack).

Okay, I think I'm going to stop spamming you all now. Possibly. But first, let's take a gander at Coffee ASH since Bunny has reawakened my love for him:

*dreamy sigh* Apparently numerous people don't remember me squeeing my pants off about those commercials. But I did, I assure you. LOOK! PROOF! Apparently I was uncharacteristically calm and collected about it, but I assure you that while I was watching the ads I was squeeing my pants off. Anyway, those commercials? Beautiful. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to ASH being the romantic lead in a rom-com. *sigh* If those commercials made a re-emergence nowadays, there would be fanfic galore for them. Seriously. They'd put Mac/PC to shame.

Okay, now I'll stop spamming.

You know, I swear I never saw a single one of those coffee ads until a couple months ago when I started becoming a giant ASH fangirl.

I think I faintly remember the American versions from my childhood. I definitely remember coffee commercials that were like a spoof of the rom-coms that my mom used to watch, so that has to be them.

I really was never much of a television watcher.

When Buffy was originally on I was in college, and all of my friends were into it. I never saw a single episode until last fall. (And then proceeded to cram all 7 years into my brain in a few months). Also - EVERYONE I know came out of the closet as a Buffy fan during my viewing.

And I have a few shows that I love now, but I think if it weren't for the internet fandoms + DVD sets I wouldn't watch them as much as I do.

Of course, I am SO glad I watched Giles Buffy. :P

Oh man, I didn't watch Buffy until this past December when I became obsessed with ASH, and I was expecting to hate it, but then it ended up being THE greatest show ever. It was like My So-Called Life with vampires and sexy librarians. Pure brilliance. I always resisted it when I was a teenager for some reason. I think because my oldest brother watched it and I didn't want to risk liking anything that he liked? I don't know. Plus, I was skeptical because of the title.

I was just sort of oblivious to TV shows then.
And there are still some things/episodes that I'm like WTF? Seriously? But overall, I do like it.

But, hello, ANTHONY FREAKIN' HEAD is freakin' AWESOME. WHY did I only find this out recently? It's like the best-kept-secret in the world or something.

I was in my early 20's when the original coffee ads were aired here in England.....and I like a lot of women then, swooned over Anthony. We couldn't wait for when the next new commercial was going to be aired!

About 16 years later, my friends asked me if wanted to go and see James Marsters and his band who were playing at the Cavern Club. I said who? They couldn't believe I had never seen Buffy (it was in it's 5th season by then) it had never appealed to me. They were all going on about how gorgeous Spike and Angel were. So I borrowed season 1 from them. This was me reaction when i watched the first ep. - OMG, that's Tony Head from the Nescafe ads.......PWHOAR he looks even more gorgeous now. As I finished season 1 + 2 my conclusions were: Giles is the sexiest, cutest and most shaggable character in this show.....Angel and Spike who? My friends never did get my lust for Giles, maybe like Tony's coffee.....I enjoy something a bit more sophisticated.

I have lusted after ASH ever since. I can't help it.....he keeps playing all these sexy characters

Haha... I don't think I would have watched past season 1 if it weren't for Giles.

I swear, it doesn't matter *what* role he's playing, the man just oozes TEH SEX.

I love it. A very sophisitcated, chemistry laden and subtle sexually predatory kind of flavor crystal infused coffee.

What's not to love?

Exactly. I so want some, and I'm not even a fan of instant coffee.

Well, if one is to fall prey to the mind-victimization trap they set for us (i.e., rip open the foil on that sucker and a sexy british man comes over to flirt with you for YEARS ON END) then.....it's an easy sell, right?

Damn right it is. ASH. On my doorstep at various times throughout the day. Telling me he loves me. I AM SO BUYING THAT COFFEE! But here it's called Taster's Choice, and that's just not as fancy sounding as Gold Blend. And for the American commercials ASH used his American accent, which is kind of horrid. *sigh* But the chemistry was still hot:

I love those Coffee ads. I posted the same video in my journal. I also have a picture of a container of Gold Blend saved on my computer because I want to make icons with it and quotes from the commercial.
