Icon meme yet again! Because I seriously cannot resist it. You know the drill, comment and I'll pick 6 of your icons and you talk about them on your journal and yada yada yada.





Andy! Eating a beet! Dressed as a beet farmer! That moment was so damn epic. And beautiful. I love him for trying SO HARD to mock Dwight and just not even coming close to being successful. The poor guy. This is why I get angry when people bully him. He FAILS at defending himself and just ends up humiliating himself. It's so sad. And Andy trying to bite into the raw beet? Even sadder. I love him. So very much.



Giles and Wesley!!! The watchers. The adorably sexy watchers. Back when Giles used to silently mock Wesley with a half-hidden smirk and a cocked eyebrow. They are both just so very delightful in their own ways, but I love how putting Giles and Wesley together showcased how badass Giles actually was and how much Wesley still needed to learn. I'm not quite sure that Giles would have ever come out of his shell if he hadn't met Wesley and recognized himself in him and come to the conclusion that he was absolutely foolish. Also, I adore how the Buffy/Giles relationship was juxtaposed against the Wesley/Cordy relationship, especially during The Prom. You saw how adult both Giles and Buffy are with each other and how deep their relationship is and how subtle/personal their feelings for each other are, while Cordy and Wes were completely superficial and so tragically inept at being discreet about their feelings for each other, and there was no confusion as to what they wanted from each other. Sadly, it was all hormones for them and no emotional depth whatsoever. Giles/Buffy, on the other hand? Deep, emotional, tragic, and beautiful. *dreamy sigh* But oooooh how I enjoyed Wes/Cordy. Wait... how did this turn into a discussion about Giles/Buffy? ARGH! I am hopeless. HOPELESS!



BOYD/ECHO!!! My absolute definite Dollhouse OTP (even though I am more likely to be reading Boyd/Topher fic, but I assure you, Boyd/Echo owns my heart). They are just so dang beautiful. Boyd is so devoted to her and proud of her and he wants to do absolutely nothing but protect her forever. She is his entire life at this point. For Echo, he's her safe place. He's the one that makes everything okay no matter what. She's programmed to trust him, yes, but Boyd has done everything in his power to be worthy of that trust, even though he didn't have to. When Echo's programming glitched and Boyd was injured, Echo was the one taking care of him, and she suddenly had his role. "Do you trust me?" and Boyd looks at her so meaningfully and says, "With my life." GUH! It was beautiful. And don't even get me started on the ep from two weeks ago. Their bond has officially become real as far as I'm concerned. They love each other unconditionally and will always be loyal to each other. Now, when Boyd first came to the Dollhouse, he was looking at Echo as an object without feelings or thoughts, but when she held his hand and looked into his eyes and he said, "Everything will be okay," and she answers, "Now that you're here," he was a goner. He realized that he held a human life in his hands and in that instant she became his entire world. And then she hugged him and he knew he'd never leave her. IT IS SO, SO BEAUTIFUL! And I ship them (at this point) in a purely innocent manner. I don't see any lusty feelings on either side, but this is the ship with the strongest emotional bond, so naturally I'm drawn to it. I love them.

How appropriate that this icon comes right after Kenneth's manly wiles. Now Morgana is using her womanly wiles on Uther to distract him from the fact that she is unusually quiet and hiding something, and it totally works, because Uther is giving her the sex eyes and thinking, "Mmm, silence can be good." Seriously, Morgana flirts with him to get out of anything. And she uses her bustiest dress for fake apologies. Father/daughter they are not. She's beautiful, he knows it, she knows it, and she knows he wants it but can't have it, so she subtly teases him with it and it BLOWS HIS MIND. Unless he's steaming angry, in which case he sees right through her and refuses to play along. OH THEM! THEY ARE SO GORGEOUS! They are a double whammy of gorgeous and hot and WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE SHIP THEM? Good god, I love them. They are intense and taboo, so OF COURSE I love them. It's a little depressing though that there are probably more Uther/Arther fics out there than there are Uther/Morgana fics. And I'm talking full on sexing each other up Uther/Arther fics. Not that I don't encourage it, I just... prefer Uther/Morgana. And Uther/Merlin.

YES YES YES!!!! I know I mostly just talk about her in reference to Jack, but seriously, I love her to bits. She is the greatest female character on television for me. She just embodies every single woman that I have ever known (including me). I mean... she tapes her bra shut because she is too lazy to go buy a new one. She uses her treadmill as a clothes rack. She mocks the Slanket and then asks if she can have it. She threw a large table across the room after someone stole her mac and cheese. She has morals, but only if they don't hinder her current desires. She was the school bully and didn't even know it. She has a poor self-image and yet if you give her a compliment it will go straight to her ego. She confessed to Oprah (or so she thought) that she once walked in on her grandparents making love and she didn't look away right away. She picks on Lutz for absolutely no reason other than the fact that he's Lutz. She gets inspirational speeches from Designing Women! She scarfed down an entire sub in less than a minute because airport security wouldn't let her take it past the gate. She dances topless in front of an entire room full of business men just to save her best friend from his own embarrassment. She says things like "Blerg" and "I'm back, nerds!" She runs a comedy show full of crazy people every single day and somehow keeps her sanity (somewhat). She drunk dials homeowners' associations. She dances for a flu shot. Her sexy pose looks like she's gagging herself. She's just awesome all around. I love her.

Blue? Or gray, because she wears her TGS hoodie quite a bit.

Honestly? Wouldn't it be Loverly from My Fair Lady (ack, could not find the dubbed version they used in the movie, so that is the version with Audrey singing, which isn't bad, just not what I'm used to). Anyway, 1) because Liz loves showtunes, 2) because Liz often reminds me of Eliza Doolittle, and 3) because this song is just so Liz. She wants a man, but it doesn't have to be a grand romance, she just wants someone to sit on the couch and eat chips with (or chocolates, in Eliza's case). And, the song is full of goofing off and such. And, I just can't seem to stop myself from comparing Jack and Liz to Henry and Eliza, therefore they will always remind me of this film.
