Yes, actually, that baffles me too. It's completely my kind of slash ship. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? WHY CAN'T I FEEL THE LOVE? And, you've definitely gotten me into enemy slash, only I ship the most obscure enemy slash that no one else ships. *sigh*
The difference is that you pick a ship and stick to it for YEARS, whereas I flutter around from ship to ship whenever one strikes my fancy. And I tend to slash the pairing that no one else does. *sigh* Chazz/Jimmy from BoG was my only popular slash ship.

But uhm, seriously, when I find a ship and fall for it, I'm falling in love for good because I have a keen interest in the social philosophies that can be applied to the pairings as well. TOTALLY DORKY, I know, but it's the truth.
The only slash ship that I've stuck with (and stayed obsessed with) through many many years is Alan/Denny from Boston Legal. But that's probably because it's the only stable relationship on the show. And it doesn't need fanfiction because the show gives us everything that we could ever ask for in regards to exploring their love for each other. I &hearts them so, so much. I can't believe it'll all be ending this season. :'(
I cannot take credit for that one. But if the pairing makes you pull awfully painful THE HELL faces, and you would like to file suit for damages, I welcome you to open a channel of discussion with the appropriate offender.
