Community did feel kind of discombobulating. I had to laugh when Abed made some sort of meta crack about the story being alienating, because it certainly was one of the least accessible episodes of the series. It seems like they're becoming more adventurous with their storytelling - not really in the kinds of stories they're telling, but in the execution. They're really mixing it up in terms of different formats - cutaways to CGI or animation, that "2 minutes later" thing last week, etc. I don't think they're always successful, but as always with the show even if they fall flat on their face I can appreciate that they're at least ambitious with their comedy. They never play it safe. And I suppose when you figure you're probably going to be cancelled anyway you have the luxury of doing whatever the hell you want.
This season of 30 Rock has been one of its most consistently solid in awhile. Other than the People are Idiots episodes, I've enjoy every ep. Ironically enough, the first few episodes of this season were making me ship Jack/Liz HARDCORE and I've never really shipped them before. But I really like Criss, and after last week's "you Solo'd me" made me swoon I am totally down for that relationship being a longer term thing because all I really want in life is Liz/Happiness.
KORRA LEAKED???? GODDAMN. I assumed everyone would be dead so I'm super pleased to here that even Katara is still alive.
