firthgalI am having an epic rewatch of Community, and, the more I watch it, the more I am shipping Britta/Pierce. WHERE DO I EVEN GET THESE INKLINGS? Seriously, I baffle me sometimes. But Britta seems to get Pierce better than anyone else, and Pierce continually makes shockingly accurate observations about her, and they are just... they are basically the same person, only not. And it's the same with Jeff/Annie, so it's like a sort of symmetry for me, I guess. Jeff knows Annie's motivations for everything that she does because deep down they are basically the same person.
Anyway, aside from my love of old guy/young girl pairings, I find that I am not so averse to Jeff/Britta as I thought I was. Now that I love both characters immensely, I even find myself kind of rooting for them (but, you know, my heart belongs to Jeff/Annie. But if I can't have that, then I am perfectly happy with Jeff/Britta and Annie/Senor Chang. Yes, rewatching episode 4 renewed my love for that crackilicious ship. They need to have a drunken makeout session that horrifies Annie once she's sober. I'M JUST SAYING. Also, Annie/Professor Duncan is hot, and probably more plausible). And Jeff and Shirley need more BFF scenes. THEY WERE SO EPICALLY HILARIOUS TOGETHER.
Alright, alright, I should be doing something other than obsessing over Community. I did turn in a few job applications today, so at least that's something (but I did not go exercising despite the day being absolutely beautiful. I am deeply ashamed of myself. But ANNIE/SENOR CHANG. It's totally worth the shame).
