Bwahahahaha. I love it. All I needed to see was Joel McHale's name and I knew it would be awesome. AND CHEVY CHASE! Oh god. He's so beautifully creepy. Also, John Oliver. Another plus? It has some of the same writers from Arrested Development. CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS ONE. It looks brilliant. And that preview made me wish it was an hour-long show, but I doubt it will be. Also, I have a feeling my favorite character will be the one that Chevy called "Abed the A-rab." Or, Chevy will be my favorite. DEAR GOD, I AM FANGIRLING OVER A 4 AND A HALF MINUTE PREVIEW. *sigh* Seriously dudes, that show looks amazing. How had I never even heard of it being made? Psh. Anyway, this show totally makes my 5 years of community college experience completely worth it (and, odds are, I will be going back sometime in the near future, because I am still one of those loser 20-somethings that can't get a permanent job. Speaking of which, I am applying at the moment to a hospital daycare/preschool, but of course it's only a temporary job. ARGH! But hospital daycares are the only ones around here that can afford health benefits for their employees, since it's part of the hospital, and even if it's only temporary, I NEED THE HEALTH INSURANCE).
Also, Parks and Recreation was renewed for a second season, woohoo! Sadly, it looks like Life is most definitely off the schedule. *cries*We still have a minuscule chance since NBC doesn't announce all of the renewals till mid May, but I think it's a goner. Never mind, it's definitely gone. Chuck is most likely canceled too (which I don't really watch, but it's pretty much the only thing my parents watch other than sports). Here's the preview for the 09/10 season if you want to take a look. Maybe I missed a quick flash. But I don't think I did. I just don't get why Friday Night Lights gets to stay while Life gets the boot. I so wish Life could move to USA (it's got the same tone as In Plain Sight, would be a great companion for that one. Or put IPS on at 8:00, then L&O CI at 9:00, then Life at 10:00. Sounds good to me). Also, I am so damn bitter towards Jay Leno for getting so many shows canceled. UGH! BLERG! BLERG ON YOU, MR. LENO! Actually, it's NBC's fault for forcing him into retirement and then not letting him go to ABC. Bastards. Also, I hadn't realized how thoroughly I miss Conan O'Brien until I saw some classic clips in that preview. OH CONAN! COME BACK TO ME, PLEASE! I haven't watched Jimmy Fallon, which I keep meaning to do. I even missed the Robert DeNiro episode. That's just not cool. But... I've never much liked Jimmy Fallon, and I don't really see anyone on my f-list talking about him. In fact, it seems like most people switched over to Craig Ferguson. I just haven't watched my late night shows in ages. I even missed Conan's last episodes. :( And I haven't seen Colbert in an even longer time. I am such a bad late night fan.
Also, I am still so, so in love with this Uther/Morgana video. I watched it about 10 times last night. It's just so BEAUTIFUL and ANGSTY and CREEPY and full of DESTRUCTION and LOVE and DECEIT and REVENGE and GOD, I LOVE IT! SO VERY MUCH! It just captures them so gloriously.
And, just in case you missed it this weekend, my drabble fulfillments foratlashrugged and oltha_heri. They were Lassiter/Juliet and Uther/Morgana, respectively. Also, I had written a Michael/Ryan drabble in a comment for tinted_glass the other day, so I went ahead and edited that in (even though I'm pretty sure that Ryan's voice is completely off, but tinted_glass assures me it's okay, so I'm letting you all read it). Apparently I am in a drabbling mood, so if any of you all want more, hit me with some prompts.
Also, I didn't wake up until 1:30pm today. I feel like a total bum. I missed my entire morning! My day is all off now. It's almost supper time and I just ate breakfast.
