Damn it, Chuck Bass!

Grrrrrrr. I just watched the Gossip Girl finale, so I'm all caught up. And... the finale killed me. In a good way. OMG CHUCK I LOVE YOU! BUT I HATE YOU! BUT I LOVE YOU! ARRRRRRGH! Seriously, I was swooning like crazy. And then the end. ARGH! I knew that would happen though, because seeing Chuck being good was way too weird. But ooooooooh, how it killed me. Dudes, I can't even express how much I enjoy Chuck/Blair. And just Chuck. I love Chuck. Love him. I think I've already mentioned that, but just thought I'd say it again. I LOVE HIM! It's just ridiculously awesome how he can be this guy, and then turn around and be this guy, and then kill me dead in the finale:
OMG!!!!!! BAH! DAMN IT CHUCK! Do you see? Do you see why he tortures me? I really can't wait for the S2 premiere. Oh, the wrath that will rain down on him for crossing Blair Waldorf. I hope she makes him suffer pretty hard. Hopefully she'll come back with Mature Helocopter Dude and Chuck will be mad jealous and try to be mature for her and then fail miserably and she'll still love him anyway because she can't freaking help it.
As for everyone else, the Georgina plot was wholly unnecessary and probably the only thing about the show that I absolutely hated. Dan/Serena aren't even worth talking about. I loved Nate/Vanessa, but sadly, that was too short-lived (although I quite like Dan/Vanessa too). The Eric thing was a shocker (although looking back it all makes sense), and I could tell it was him in the beginning of the ep, so the big reveal at dinner wasn't much of a reveal, but dang, I love Eric for being such an honest kid. Jenny was a little bitch and she definitely got what she deserved. Ugh. I was so happy when she realized that she wasn't herself anymore. I love Vanessa, quite a bit. Rufus/Lily kind of killed me when Rufus showed up at the wedding. I love that Serena and Chuck are actually sibling-ish once thrown together (you know, minus Chuck trying to have sex with her all the time), it was lovely seeing Chuck being protective.
So... basically, I love everyone and everything about the show, except for the Georgina nonsense and the contrived drama that came from that. Honestly, I really liked Serena before that storyline, but afterwards, ugh (I also kind of really hated Dan after that, too). So... one fail, but lots and lots of wins. And, you know, there's CHUCK BASS, and that alone is enough reason to watch the show. I don't normally go with the mainstream, but I am so on the Chuck train, and I don't care if it's crowded, I'm staying.
