Damon's conviction that he'd protect Elena was pretty wonderful, I completely forgot about that moment. And yes to teamwork! I was so delighted by the whole cast getting in on this episode. Well, except Jenna, who is still completely clueless (seriously, why does no one tell her anything??? Sheesh).
