Just watched Dollhouse. GREATEST EPISODE OF ANYTHING EVER. God, I am baffled as to how this show can make me yawn one week and blow my mind the next week. This episode was absolute perfection from start to finish and exactly what Dollhouse should be all the time. I was so incredibly moved by this episode, and horrified, and on the edge of my seat, and moved, OMG. Sierra was phenomenal, and Victor, and TOPHER, and Boyd, and Adelle, and Echo. Gah, all the awesome people got to be extra awesome, and we were free from the epic fail that is Paul. BOYD, HOLY CRAP. That dude is way more badass than I had previously thought. Now I'm really curious about his past. I'm guessing he was a fallen FBI agent turned hired hitman before he got to the Dollhouse, and it would explain his lack of morals (even though, you know, he likes to voice concern, but he still gets the job done, always. He follows orders first and foremost, but he seems to be a bit of a rogue agent in everything that he does). Gaaaah, this episode. Everyone should watch episode 2x04. EVERYONE. This is what Dollhouse is supposed to be about. If the show was consistently this awesome, it wouldn't be in danger of cancellation. Anyway, this episode was epic in every way, and best of all, I finally, FINALLY got me some Boyd/Echo and Boyd/Topher interaction. It was glorious.
