IT'S OSCAR NIGHT.
Mar. 7th, 2010 02:10 pmSo uh... I am not usually this excited about the Oscars, except perhaps for a few times in my childhood when Billy Crystal was hosting because I was massively in love with that dude. But anyway, CHRISTOPH. CHRISTOPH IS GOING TO FREAKING WIN AND HE IS GOING TO BE FREAKING ADORABLE AND I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT.

GORGEOUS FREAKING PROFILE, YES? OMG, I LOVE HIM. I AM EVEN TOO EXCITED TO RESIZE THE PIC, SO, SORRY IF I'VE STRETCHED YOUR LAYOUT, BUT, IT COULD NOT BE HELPED.
*ahem*
I am also hoping that Alec and Steve are totally awesome as opposed to the total lameness that the last few Oscars have produced. I mean, last year Will Ferrell didn't even show up! What is an Oscars without a wacky musical performance from Will Ferrell? Psh. Although I doubt he'll be there this year either since he and his wife just had a baby. BUT ANYWAY, IT DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE I AM WATCHING FOR CHRISTOPH. Seriously dudes, if Christoph doesn't win, I'm pretty sure I will cry for real. Is the supporting actor award shown early? I hope it is, because that way if he doesn't win, I won't have to sit through four hours of lameness for nothing. Although, since I've actually seen like 8 of the 10 movies nominated this year, I actually am interested in the other awards, too. But everyone keeps saying it's the most predictable Oscars year ever, so I guess I don't really have to watch to see who wins. But I need to see my boy Christoph win. BECAUSE HE IS BEAUTIFUL. LOOK AT THAT PROFILE.
Oh, did I mention that I watched Crazy Heart the other day? Yeah, it's a typical boring Oscar movie, so I do not doubt that Jeff Bridges will win best actor, especially since he spends half the film very convincingly puking his brains out. Seriously dudes, SO boring. And I like country music! But the weird thing is, as much as I love country music, I tend to kind of hate the movies about it. Except for Pure Country, because it was beyond corny and super adorable and it starred GEORGE MOTHEREFFING STRAIT, so, you know, I couldn't not love that one.
♥__♥
Award-winning acting right there. Clearly they were robbed at the Oscars that year. Ahahahaha, I love that it's the big, emotional ending to a rom-com and they don't even kiss. Oh, George.
