PHIL FREAKING VASSAR.
Feb. 15th, 2010 02:11 amI'm pretty sure there is no greater place to spend Valentine's Day (or any day, for that matter) than at a Phil Vassar concert. I love this dude so, so much. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: if my life had a narrator, it would be this man. He just writes songs that are so appreciative of the little things in life and having fun. He's amazing, and awesome, and I love him. And try as I might to find other performers who entertain me as well as he does, so far no one has been able to compare (keep in mind that I've never seen Garth. I'm pretty sure Garth would blow everyone out of the water simply because I worship the man). But anyway, Phil has this ability to bring the fun no matter how lackluster the audience is (and, this was an audience of mainly older people who didn't even know who he was). He started off a little rocky, but the drunker he got, the more fun he was having, and it was awesome.

LOOK AT HOW MUCH HE IS ENJOYING THAT PIANO. I am kind of angry at myself for not getting his epic piano playing moments on video, but, I did manage to get 11 seconds of Piano Man! Which... contains no moments of epic piano playing, but it does contain a harmonica! (barely)
( I actually got some good shots this time! Amazingly! Also, he was singing my favorite song RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME )
I love him. A lot. And now I am going to go to bed, and I'm pretty sure that I will still be grinning like a loon when I wake up tomorrow.
