Why yes, I AM lame enough to make this cheesy icon

HOW WAS HE SUCH A PRETTY YOUNG THING?

Now he is a sexy, rugged, manly thing )

It feels weird obsessing over Christoph and ASH at the same time. I've never two-timed my celebrity crushes before! I am usually too wholly focused on one dude to have time for another one. It's strange and exciting! And when I get tired of watching one, I just watch the other one. Although, you know, I don't really tire of watching these two. Even though I've been watching Christoph's stuff entirely in German and have no freaking clue what they're saying. HE'S SO PRETTY! And his performances never fail to be captivating. The only thing that I've had trouble getting through so far is the Gravy Train miniseries, and that one's in English. So uh... obviously his role in that one isn't all that exciting (he's still mighty adorable, though. But it's clear that I seem to enjoy him more when he's a baddie or a smartass good guy as opposed to a good-natured good guy).

So, I was going to do a Ron/Leslie picspam, because they've been so, so epic lately, but uh... well, clearly I got distracted by Mr. Waltz. But I managed to make an uber cheesy Ron/Leslie icon! Because fandom fails at suiting my iconing needs, so, this is what happens when I am left to my own devices. But seriously, that old couple? The dude had a mustache, and the lady looked so much like an elderly version of Leslie. CLEARLY THEY ARE RON AND LESLIE IN THE FUTURE. MY ICON SAYS SO. But damn Ron and his inability to look at Leslie when they are in the same shot! Seriously, the dude just won't look at her unless she's looking at someone else, then he's all moony-eyed at her. Oh, bugger it all, a picspam is obviously required to prove my point, so, I might as well make one right now!

A high five is clearly the greatest form of love )

Now, you all know that I've been shipping these two from day 1, but I never actually thought we'd get all this subtext that we've been getting. Like, at all. And after this ep, I was thinking, "Oh, no one can deny it now. It was the VALENTINE'S episode and Ron and Leslie ended up having the most important moment, they were the ones that showed that they fit and know each other better than anyone else. Clearly no one can deny any longer that they have romantic subtext!" And do you know what I read today? This article, wherein they are compared to Mary Richards and Lou Grant. COME ON, INTERNET. WHY MUST ALL MY SHIPS BE COMPARED TO THEM? WHY? Whenever critics start doing that, it is basically them saying, "Don't let romance come into the picture, because that would be lame." DAMN YOU, MARY AND LOU! WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE GOTTEN TOGETHER? IT WOULD HAVE MADE MY SHIPPING LIFE A WHOLE LOT EASIER! *huff*
